AMBER ALERT: MO Highway Patrol Says Newborn Abducted From Laclede County

UPDATE at 8:53 PM Tuesday:  the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the baby has been found safe.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a newborn baby girl was abducted in Laclede County, Missouri, Tuesday afternoon, the same day she was born.  Accordng to the Amber Alert, the baby was last seen near Missouri Highway 32 and Route U in Nebo-Falcon, Missouri.  That's about 15 miles east of Lebanon.

The highway patrol says two white males are the suspects:   one is identified as 34-year-old Steven Joseph Bolingher, who weighs 200 pounds, 5'9" tall, with green eyes and brown hair.  You can see a picture here. The other is a 45-year-old male named "Mike," with a light gray beard.

The suspects' vehicle is identified as a blue Jeep Wrangler with a black soft top.

According to the emergency alert, Steven Bohlinger and Mike were supposed to take the newborn infant to an unknown hospital in the Laclede County area for post-natal care, but the suspects never arrived at the hospital.

The public is asked to call 9-1-1 or Laclede County Sheriff's Office at 417-532-2311 if you have any information.
