Two More Die Of COVID-19 In Greene County Bringing September's Death Count To 27

The number of deaths from COVID-19 in Greene County now stands at 57.  The Springfield-Greene County Health Department announced two more deaths on Tuesday. 

The latest deaths were a woman in her 70s and a woman in her 90s.  Both were associated with long-term care facilities.

There have been 27 deaths from COVID-19 in September.  As of Tuesday morning, the total case count in Greene County was 5,972.  Of those, 2,373 were still active.  There were 128 people hospitalized in Springfield with the illness, and 23 were in the ICU.
