Greene County has lost another resident to COVID-19. The latest death, announced Wednesday, was a man in his 50s.
There have been 47 deaths due to COVID-19 in Greene County this month and 77 overall.
As of Wednesday morning, there were 6,960 cases of COVID-19 in Greene County, and 2,617 of them were active.
There were 146 people hospitalized with the illness in Springfield, and 27 of them were in the ICU.
