The Missouri Job Center will hold a Drive Thru Job Fair Thursday (10/8) from 11 am to 1 pm. It will be in the parking lot of the Branson Missouri Job Center, 2720 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway.
Eleven employers are expected to attend. They include Atrium Hospitality (Chateau on the Lake), CoxHealth Branson, Silver Dollar City, Mastercorp, Big Cedar Lodge, Royal Oak Enterprises, Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, Wal-Mart, Panera Bread Co., Andy B’s and Belk Department Store.
The Businesses Services supervisor at the Job Center, Dennis Wiggins, said in a news release that Taney County continues to experience one of the highest unemployment rates in the state at just over 10 percent. He hopes this week’s job fair will help connect people with employment.
