No one injured in fire at Missouri social services agency

Officials say no one was injured in a fire at a Missouri state office building. Gov. Mike Parson says no one was in the Department of Social Services building at the time of the Monday night fire.

Roughly 100 social services and information technology staff had worked at the building. Parson's office says the State Fire Marshall and the Jefferson City Fire Department are inspecting the damage. But the Jefferson City News Tribune reports that the building is considered a total loss because of the extent of the fire.
