Local musicians Hannah, Delia and Amanda Rainey call their sound “Indie Twin Folk”. The three are collectively known as Dubb Nubb and they recently visited the KBIA studio to sample some tunes off of their brand new album, Wild Dreamin’, as well as a couple older tracks.

Check out the video below for an upbeat acoustic track (“Mama Deer”), a mellower, matched harmonies number (“I Dreamt”), an uplifting love ballad (“Old Days”) and a jumpy folk tune (“In the Morning”).

The Rainey sisters have been writing and performing together long before they came to Columbia. Showcasing their music in the True/ False film festival a few years back, the Raineys admit they received “a really good introduction” into Columbia’s music scene. Hannah, Delia and Amanda stopped by the KBIA studio and shared their experience.
