Welcome to another edition of Maplewood Barn Radio Theatre, and happy new year!
In keeping with our tradition of giving you classic stories, tonight we bring you a chilling tale called "The Beast with Five Fingers," by W.F. Harvey.
It was first published in The New Decameron in 1919. It was made into a movie in 1947; the film starred Robert Alda, Andrea King and Peter Lorre.
While the story is not well known today, the movie has been hailed as "an early horror film classic, and certainly one that well-rounded horror movie aficionados should not miss."
