Missouri's Special Legislative Session Comes to an End

Missouri’s special legislative session is over. It came to an end after several weeks of disagreements between the House and Senate over a wide-ranging tax credit bill.

By Marshall Griffin (St. Louis)

Seven weeks to the day after Missouri lawmakers returned to Jefferson City, the special legislative session has ended without passage of an economic development bill.  President Pro-tem Rob Mayer adjourned the State Senate from the session, despite the House voting last week to go to conference to negotiate a final version of the bill.
