FBI creates fake Seattle Times story
In 2007, FBI agents in Seattle created a dummy news story on a fake Seattle Times web page with malware embedded. Agents then used MySpace to share it with a bomb-threat suspect -- identifying him, his computer's IP address and location. This led to an arrest days later.
