Missouri Reports More Than 1,000 Confirmed Cases, 13 Dead

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Missouri surpassed 1,000 and the state's death toll rose to 13. State health officials said as of Monday afternoon, 1,031 contravirus cases have been confirmed.

Also Monday, Missouri's attorney general announced he is demanding information from third-party Amazon sellers about price gouging amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Attorney General Eric Schmitt said he issued subpoena-like demands to eight Missouri-based Amazon sellers, who are under investigation for allegedly charging two to 19 times as much for hand sanitizer, masks and other items as they did before the pandemic.
