Ridgeway Elementary Announces Move to Virtual Learning

Columbia’s Ridgeway Elementary School will transition from in-person to virtual learning starting Tuesday.

In a letter sent to Ridgeway Elementary families, Columbia Public Schools says the change is due to staffing issues related to illness.

CPS also says in the letter that safety of students and staff is their number one priority and teachers will be sending home the necessary materials for students to learn virtually until the school returns to in-person instruction on Thursday, November 12.

CPS reminds parents if your child needs access to meals while learning virtually, the school district’s Grab and Go meal option is available via their website.
