Sen. Josh Hawley Tests Negative for the Coronavirus; Missouri Positivity Rate Hits New High

Missouri Senator Josh Hawley announced in a tweet Saturday that he had tested negative for COVID-19 after interacting with several GOP lawmakers and allies that tested positive.

“Pleased to report my coronavirus test came back negative. Praying for the President, the First Lady and every American who is battling this virus,” the tweet said.

Hawley consulted with his personal physician and the Office of the Attending Physician about his potential exposure to people with COVID-19, according to an email sent by his office.
