  • For 25 years, Maria Hinojosa has helped tell America’s untold stories and brought to light unsung heroes in America and abroad. In April 2010, Hinojosa launched The Futuro Media Group with the mission to produce multiplatform, community-based journalism that respects and celebrates the cultural richness of the American Experience. She is currently reporting for “Frontline” on immigration detention.

Since then she has worked extensively in radio in Baton Rouge before heading south of the border to Mexico for two and a half years. She's thrilled to be home in Louisiana and back at WRKF. In her spare time she enjoys music, dancing, and talking to strangers.
  • LaToya Dennis joined WUWM in October 2006 as a reporter / producer. LaToya began her career in public radio as a part-time reporter for WKAR AM/FM in East Lansing, Michigan. She worked as general assignment reporter for WKAR for one and a half years while working toward a master's degree in Journalism from Michigan State University. While at WKAR, she covered General Motors plant closings, city and state government, and education among other critical subjects.
  • Sheri is a Columbia native and 1985 graduate of University of Missouri-Columbia with 25+ years of experience in radio, television and development. She joined KBIA and University Concert Series as Sales Coordinator in 2013. Sheri gives back to the community where she grew up, works and lives as volunteer for various community organizations. A lifelong MU Tiger fan, she loves cheering for her Tigers and her high school age daughter’s activities.
