Paul Pepper: Author/poet Walter Bargen, "Living in the Amphibious World"

Missouri's first poet laureate, WALTER BARGEN, reads two parts of 'Living in the Amphibious World' from his 2009 book, 'Days Like This Are Necessary: New and Selected Poems'. He says, "for some reason, I was tuned in to this red-eyed tree frog!" March 2, 2023

Paul Pepper was a fixture on the mid-Missouri airwaves from 1969 until his retirement in 2023. He started hosting Radio Friends with Paul Pepper for KBIA-FM in 2009 after a remarkable 40-year on-air career at KOMU-TV.
