The Columbia Public School Board has chosen Erica Perry and Paul Wagner as the final two candidates to fill a vacancy in its ranks.
Every member of the board selected Perry and Wagner as preferences, pushing them forward for one last round of interviews.
The finalists' interviews will take place Sept. 3, when the board will select the next board member.
The new member will be sworn in Sept. 14 and will succeed Jeanne Snodgrass, who resigned July 13. The new member will finish her term, which runs until April 6.
Candidate profiles can be seen on the Columbia Public Schools website, where the community can also submit interview question suggestions for the final interviews. Suggestions are due next Thursday.
