Seg. 1: Women In Sports | Seg. 2: U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt

Segment 1: Getting more women in the male-dominated world of sports management and media.

Women have made great advances as coaches, managers, and sportscasters, but still rarely hold the same top spots as their male counterparts. So what would it take to get more women involved? We ask a panel of sports journalists what is needed to give women a better opportunity to secure some these coveted positions.

  • Dani Welniak, KCTV-5 sports reporter
  • Greg Echlin, KCUR 89.3 sports contributor

Segment 2, beginning at 24:16: Sen. Roy Blunt's take on the Mueller report and flood control.

Sen. Roy Blunt says there were no signs of collusion in the recently-released Mueller report, and thinks it's time for Democrats to turn their focus toward other issues. He also discusses his own efforts to curtail cyber threats to the country, prioritize the Missouri River Management Plan, and speed up the presidential nominee confirmation process.
