Stan has written a book about his time in the service called 'Mokane to Mole City', while Rita has helped to produce a documentary film (with filmmaker Matt Wilcox) about the 1968-1970 Manchus from the 4th Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division.
