Caoilinn Goss was the Audio Convergence Editor at KBIA. She trained and oversaw student reporters, editors and anchors to produce daily afternoon newscasts. She's also a Missouri Journalism School alum.
She previously served as the host and lead producer of The 50 Project, a commemoration of the station's half-century on the air. As an Associate Producer with Missouri on Mic, Caoilinn helped plan and execute recording events as well as voiced and edited nearly 30 episodes of the Regional Murrow Award-winning project.
When she's not busy doing the news, Caoilinn enjoys fiction audiobooks, live music, and hikes with her dog, Beesly.

Charlotte Wolpers Craig spoke with the Missouri on Mic team at the Margaret Harwell Art Museum in Poplar Bluff in July. She spoke about growing up in the area, and one of her lifelong passions – helping animals. She helped found the Animal Welfare Alliance of Southeast Missouri, which opened a no kill shelter earlier this year. -
This year, KBIA and the Missouri School of Journalism have been involved with a reporting project called the News Ambassadors. Two KBIA reporters worked with a pair of reporters from Columbia University in New York City for the last few months. The idea was to look at two seemingly different communities: Moberly, MO, and Flatbush, a neighborhood in Brooklyn, in New York City. The project involved community outreach, including listening session events in both communities in October. We wanted to find an issue to cover that is important to both communities, that we might not be covering well enough now, and see what we could learn by covering that issue in both communities at the same time. Here’s what we found. -
