Hannah France
Reporter/ProducerHannah France is a convergence radio student at the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism – set to graduate with her Bachelor of Journalism in May 2021.
She works as a reporter and producer for KBIA, an NPR member station in Mid-Missouri. Her main projects include a weekly live talk show called The Check-In, a health beat program called Missouri Health Talks, and an annual podcast on a local film festival called The True/False Podcast.
Her priority as a journalist is to connect communities through local storytelling. She plans on continuing my career in public radio or podcasting.
Born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota, Hannah is deeply connected to the people and issues of the Midwest.

Around 100 people rallied outside the Missouri State Capitol on Tuesday in response to Senate Republicans attempting to block funding for Medicaid expansion. The expansion was approved by Missouri voters last year. People shared stories about how a lack of access to affordable health care and fear of going into medical debt has cost Missourians their jobs, their health, and even their lives. -
